Resolvendo o erro no acesso VNC no Ubuntu Desktop 16.04 - Server did not offer supported security type

Ao tentar acessar o Ubuntu Desktop através do VNC, você recebe a mensagem de erro:

Server did not offer supported security type

 

Instale o pacote abaixo:

sudo apt install dconf-editor

root@lxpc:~# apt-get install dconf-editor

Abra o dconf-editor e navegue até: org --> gnome --> desktop --> remote-access


Desabilite a opção "require-encryption"

Pronto, problema resolvido
